Music Education, Piano Concentration 2027
Hey! I'm Bryn Davies (he/him), and I'm a Music Education major, Piano Concentration, with a Band/Orchestra emphasis (mouthful, I know). I'm from Pottstown, PA, so not too far from Philly! I've always heard about Temple's amazing music program, and the rumors are true! I've loved every minute of being a part of it, and I can't wait to continue and explore more ways I can perform. On top of that, I'm always going to Temple's free concerts, performances, and musicals, and YOU can too! Beyond music, I've had a blast in the Temple Climbing Club and as an Honors student worker. In my free time, I love going out to the city, baking for my friends, and petting my amazing cat! If you ever have any questions about Temple, our Honors program, or anything musical, feel free to reach out!

Five things I love are: movies, traveling, cooking, working out, and quality time with myself and my loved ones. I am eager to continue exploring my passion for mental health, youth development, and counseling. Outside of all things Temple, I’m always reading, playing video games or hooked on a new project related to custom PC building, modding/hacking old retro handhelds, setting up a homelab, etc. I love to go bouldering, hiking, visit a new National Park on my list, or splurge on a new tattoo! I’ve loved my time at Temple, living in Philly, and the friends I’ve made here. Feel free to reach out with any questions!

Media Studies and Production
Hi my name is Rhys Holvey (he/him), I am a Senior Media Studies and Production Major. I spend my time at Temple making short films with Wandering Studios as a producer, as well as producing our student news program with Temple Update. In my free time, I play volleyball and video games, and I love to go to the movies. I was a news directing intern at an NBC news station this summer, and in the fall I spent my semester in Los Angeles as a script development intern at a production company learning the ins and outs of the film industry.

Media Studies and Production, Children's Media Certificate 2027
Hi! My name is Chase (he/him) and I am a Junior Media Studies and Production Major with a certificate in Children's media. Among other interests, I am an animation enthusiast and avid Lego collector. My hometown is Bellevue, Washington. That's Washington state not D.C.! From quite far away, I came to Temple because I felt like Honors would provide a strong community, and I have not been disappointed. I hope to advocate for the support, opportunities, and welcoming atmosphere Honors has to offer. At Temple, I have done audio and film work with Wandering Studios (a film club on campus) and have volunteered with Treehouse Books (a nonprofit focused on providing free books and community engagement off campus). Both are great organizations I would highly recommend looking into if they sound interesting! If you ever want recommendations for things to get involved with, need help, or just want to chat, feel free to reach out!

Hi everyone! My name is Catherine Caudill (she/her), and I am a Communication major with a minor in Public Relations. I am from Wilmington, Delaware, which is about an hour away from campus! I decided to attend Temple University because from the first time I toured the campus, I could already tell that it would feel like home to me. Additionally, Temple has a great program for my major! I am involved with many clubs on campus, but I dedicate most of my time to Temple’s National Residence Hall Honorary. I serve as Vice President of Service for our chapter of NRHH and the regional Central Atlantic Affiliate of College and University Residence Halls. I deeply value service, so I am very engaged in addressing our campus and community needs! In my free time, I love to hike, run, bike, or do ANYTHING outside. Social work, Social Justice and Criminal Justice Minors 2028
Hello! My name is Wren (she/they), and I'm from Wilmington, Delaware. I decided on Temple because of their academic programs (not many schools offer a Bachelor of Social Work), the campus and community feel, and the connection to the city. I love that Temple is directly in the city with easily accessible public transportation, but still has a distinct campus separate from the rest of the city. I have loved being a part of a community that is supportive and invested in my success, which I have experienced through my major, extracurriculars, and Temple Honors. This year, I was a member of the Temple University Diamond Marching Band (Color Guard section) and I got the opportunity to perform in the 99th Annual Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade! If you have any questions about marching band, Honors housing, the Honors interdisciplinary social justice minor, or just general life at Temple, feel free to send me an email!

Film and Media Arts with a Concentration in Narrative Directing, Theatre Minor 2027
Hello! My name is Rachel Scierka (she/her) and I am a junior here at Temple University. I was born and raised in Pittsburgh PA (Go Steelers!) and made the journey across the state to study film here. I love watching movies, listening to music, and making just about anything I can which is part of the reason as to why I chose Temple! HATT isn’t the only thing that I do here; in fact I play drums in the marching band, am president of the film production club on campus, and even took a class in puppet making and performance this past semester. I love exploring all of the different ways that the arts intersect each other, and believe it or not, everything that I do plays a huge part in that exploration (including Temple Honors). I love meeting new people and talking about pretty much anything, so if you ever have any questions about anything or just want to chat, don’t be afraid to reach out!

Graphic Design 2029
Hello! I'm Hannah (she/her) and currently I am pursuing a Graphic Design major but am also considering switching majors/adding a minor in English. I'm from Lansdale, PA, roughly an hour outside of Philly. Temple was a good fit for me since it's in the city, so there's tons of stuff to do both on and off campus. My personal favorite is leaving campus for a day trip to Chinatown. More than that though, Temple is also great for me since I'm really indecisive major wise--all of their programs are good so I have a lot of options without having to transfer. Outside of school, I love drawing, reading comics (my favorites are Nightwing and Booster Gold), listening to music, and logging movies on Letterboxd. I’m also hoping to join Temple’s club fencing next semester! If you ever have questions, need advice, or someone to just info dump your interests on, I’d love to talk!
