Signature Programming
The Honors LLC is committed to providing students with a holistic living and learning experience. Through interactive programming, local field trips, and Honors classes, we provide students many ways to connect with one another, the Temple community, and the Philadelphia region. Some of the signature programs students can expect include:
During Weeks of Welcome, we invite all of our First-Year students to participate in our city scavenger hunt. Launching off right from the 1300 front lawn, students are put on teams, handed a SEPTA pass, and sent off to explore neighborhoods like Old City, the Museum District, South Street, and Center City.
Students in the LLC are invited to join Honors professional staff and Honors Peer Mentors in the 1300 classroom for a registration day breakfast every semester. Honors students register for classes bright and early (7am) on the very first day of the registration period and we're here to provide support and coffee!
First-Year Honors students living in the LLC have the unique (and convenient!) opportunity to take the Honors First-Year Seminar, REACT, in the LLC 3rd floor classroom. This 1-credit course introduces students to the 4 Honors Pillars, Temple University, the city of Philadelphia, and each other.
Students can meet with Honors advisors and Honors Peer Mentors in the 3rd floor advising office during select hours throughout the week. This extension of our advising brings support and resources directly to students where they live.

Former LLC Resident & Honors Resident Assistant
Some of the closest friendships that I made came from living in the Honors LLC as well as being in close proximity to events that I see on the Honors newsletter. Living on campus and having those events easily accessible helped me get involved more in the Honors Program.
Jasmine Smith
Former LLC Resident & 1300 Resident Assistant
I lived in the Honors LLC my first year, and have lived in 1300 ever since! Something I really loved about the Honors LLC is the community that we were able to form. My roommate, who is also an Honors Student, became one of my best friends here at Temple. The Honors LLC is a place to find community and develop friendships.
